We know
the way

From the naming of the new brand, Enginear was chosen because the person responsible for the project, Ricardo, had a degree in engineering. The pun is clear: “an engineer, always nearby”. We want to represent Ricardo’s personal approach to his projects and his clients.

The brand’s slogan: “We know the way” – chosen to emphasize the idea of trust and proximity, and it chose a labyrinth to support the brand’s imagery throughout the various touchpoints where it will be present, speaks clearly of the slogan and the brand’s entire philosophy.

The logo completes the idea with the buildings and the connection between the “i” and the “n”, forming those buildings.

In addition, the dot on the “i” brings a human presence to the logo, giving it that feeling of a personal approach.

We opted for a monochromatic approach for this brand, for its simplicity, and blue is the color we chose.

The energetic tone of the blue color we chose gives the right feeling of being a confident and serious brand, but it also gives the feeling of being a young and daring brand.

A new platform
built piece by piece

01. Strategy

The challenge was to rethink the brand’s website and redesign it for a more up-to-date look and user-friendly navigation, suitable for various devices.

With a structure that could accommodate and clearly display the various product ranges, and suitable for many of its stakeholders (mainly architects and contractors) who used the site as a catalog for their projects. A challenging project, as we wanted a platform that was simple in terms of appearance and navigation.

We have established a general structure for the website with the information ranked in order of importance

We divided this information between the pages and paid special attention to the products, where the ranges and their characteristics had to be very well understood in order to define a useful and practical structure for the users in question.

03. Styles

As the brand didn’t have well-defined styles for a digital identity, we redefined the colors and fonts used, always within the branding established for the brand.

The new fonts, aligned with the brand’s values, give it an elegant and at the same time very communicative character, bringing it closer to the user.

Once you’ve defined the “floor plan” and the styles to be used, it’s time to start structuring in a more concrete way.

We established the “skeleton” of the website, distributed the content, and began to test the platform’s navigation more thoroughly. Relating all the information we’ve been organizing, a lot of tests.

05. User interface

The main focus was on the product page, which required a great deal of effort to understand, simplify and design for intuitive navigation.
Programming would be a complete undertaking in itself, as it always requires some movement and interaction.

All this while maintaining visual simplicity, the golden rule of design…and programming :D.
We loved the result, our clients also loved it and admire the work we did… we’d like to think so.

In this case, since the symbol is merged with the lettering, it represents, at first glance and in a very simple way, the focus of the brand, which is the Business Angel entrepreneur, and the way of acting, which is investment and the union of the group/s.

These are represented by the circle and the halo through a minimalist approach.

02. The logo

The Logo is versatile so that it can represent the global brand and all associated sub-brands without changing the basic structure.

In order to accommodate an indefinite number of sub-brands, reinforce the visual identity and the idea of a professional, organized network with a clear common goal, we need a logo structure that doesn’t change with these sub-brands and in which only a few differentiating details stand out.

The sub-brands, all within the CORE universe but distinct from each other, will be identified by the highlighted word.

The font or proportion of the word in relation to the other elements of the logo cannot be changed.
